Hi! I finally decided to stop procrastinating a set up a blog site. I’ve been meaning to do it for a while but… oh well. Anyways, what matters now is that it’s finally here!
Goals
My goals with this blog are multifold. I hope to:
- Reflect on meaningful experiences I’ve had
- Talk about stuff that I’m interested in (movies, food, games)
- Document my journey!
I intend on writing a new entry every week, barring prior commitments of course, and I also plan on adding illustrations (eventually).
About Me
Enough about the blog! I’m a 18-year-old from the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas interested in pursuing a career in medicine. My current work is losely centered around the application of machine learning and statistical methods to develop a better clinical understanding of kidney transplantation, thoracic surgery, and lung cancer screening.
So far, I’m grateful to have been named a Goldwater Scholar, a Regeneron Science Talent Search Scholar, a Keerat Baweja Memorial Named Scholar, and to have been nominated for the Udall Scholarship.
